Blissfully Stuck

The science of being stuck in my opinion is not psychological, but it sure does have its effects on people. By being stuck I mean in life, professionally, personally, psychologically, spiritually, etc in short there is movement but that movement has no end, beginning, or a start. It’s just a stationery phase in life that remains constant.
I have been in association with a few people, who have had and are having tremulous times in all aspects of life. Where ideas remain mere ideas, the jobs are just jobs that satiate no growth, no positive prospects come by and personally no on to lean on even when they have that someone.
It’s a state of negative salvation, where patience is not just tested but, sucks out the last remains of hope. This brings out a feeling of numbness that spreads like a virus, and infects all that is around that person. It’s like being hit or being punished for doing the right things. It’s pretty confusing when things in life decide to just remain stuck.
There are people I know who work the same job day in and day out, their initial aura of hope is brimming with the confidence that something good might just happen. Which never does, they remain to be stuck in a position where hope is just a word. Then there are people in love, in unison with one another, with love flowing like the river that never ends, and it’s true. But then they just are not there when you need them. The moment is gone and the issue still remains a stand still. You just don’t feel like it. And many more, I can go on and on, financial issues, kids, academics, etc….
I met a few people along the way seeking an answer to the questions that people faced who have had the above perils. Now here is what I got, which was quite an overwhelming response I did not quite take it right in. One spiritual person to me, its because of their past lives, they did something wrong and that has a profound effect on their current lives, and because there are planets that orbit and which impacts the lives and the sins from the past, so they blast right into what is now the state of being stuck. Some told me one has to go into doing penances and pleasing the gods. One told me that the time is not right, there is the shadow of Satan or bad luck or the dark power looming over you, and hence one has to offer a prayer, or indulge in making some sacrifices. Sacrifices like wearing certain colors, not eating meat, not doing what one usually does, etc
I respect them, I feel in one way what they say or believe is the road to spiritual salvation because good happens to those who please the gods, who please the dark shadows, who offer sacrifices to bring in good luck and have the planets sway away from ones side. All right, I agree, but I want to seek some form of justification.
Lets say, I do one good a day, that’s 30 good deeds in a month, and 364 good deeds in a year, these deeds, are all voluntary, because you want to do them to help people, animals, etc to see people happy, to bring that joy in their life, to be able to be there for someone when they really needed a shoulder. Why does not god see that? Why does he not appreciate that? Do penances? Praying for long hours? and sacrifices really matter? Does pleasing god help bring luck. What about the good deeds done because one really wanted them to be done? Are you saying that is a waste? I am trying to be a good human being here. So tell me god where did I go wrong?
Secondly the blast from the past, first off, my past is not in my sub-conscious, so I have no idea what sins were done and what pain and agony was given by me to others. Unless there was a rule book I could read and then understand my sufferings in this life were a result of my past life. No one remembers what they did in their past lives. So why the injustice, why punish people who do well, be good, work hard and give them a reason that their past life was pretty messed up hence its impacting the lives no. It just does not work for me.
In my opinion this is a belief system, unfortunately in some way and not all I believe in it.
Why because the people I love believe in them, and I believe in the people I love. Blind faith you might call but to me people I love, they are my divine entities. There is a limit to taking just so much of everything, but then too much of a blind faith just leaves us reckless, useless and deemed losers. The only reason is, if not for the past lives, not for the pleasing of gods and not for planets chasing us in their orbits, we would be happier and if being good and doing good does not change the state of being stuck, then this is grave injustice, rather divine injustice. There is a bribe to pay the gods in the form of penances, prayers, and sacrifices.
But all hope is not lost, I may not have faith in the gods, but I do have my spirituality intact, and I have faith in those who love me and stand by me. So people if life is pretty stuck up, just have the people you love comfort you, do good, spread goodness around, if god isn’t listening, don’t bother, there are people who love you and that is your realm of hope. And they will change your life. Be Cool!!!
